Swami Vishnu-devananda

Lived and studied with Master Sivananda for ten years.


1957, Master Sivananda sent Swami Vishnu to the West.  Swamiji was one of the first yogis to bring the ancient Yoga teachings here.


One of the first to create a teacher training course and ‘yoga vacation’.


Known as the “Flying Swami”, he flew over war-torn countries “bombing” them with flowers and pamphlets on world peace to prove that boundaries are man-made.


Founder of the Sivananda Organization.  currently there are seven ashrams and 22 yoga centers worldwide and the organization has trained more than 23,000 yoga teachers worldwide.


Teachings include the Five Points of Yoga.

Swami Atma-swaruparamananda

Began studying yoga in early 1980s.  met Swami Vishnu in 1987.  it was that year that he clearly knew he was to become a yoga teacher.


In 2001 founded the Advaita Yoga Ashrama (AYA).


Has taught hatha yoga, the bhagavad gita, meditation and philosophy in numerous teacher training courses & retreats throughout the world.


Presently resides in Europe and travels the world teaching Yoga.
