The DeafYoga Foundation’s mission is to educate, inspire and collaborate with the Deaf community and its members in their quest to learn Yoga. Our organization's teachings follow classical Yoga with a focus on the Sivananda Saraswati lineage. Although our vision incorporates all peoples, our intent is on introducing and encouraging Deaf people to a personal Yoga practice or to become an instructor.

DeafYoga Foundation Mission

Meet the Board Members

“I am honored to be a part of the DeafYoga Foundation.  As I begin my own study of Sivananda Yoga, I invite each of you to explore, experience, and enjoy the benefits of Yoga.

I thank DeafYoga Foundation for giving the community the platform with which to learn, practice, and teach Yoga. I look forward to being a part of the incredible journey of Yoga for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing communities.”
